27-year-old Israeli man was savagely beaten and nearly killed after taking a wrong turn into an Arab neighborhood in northern Jerusalem

Local residents who were out on the streets immediately began pelting Nachshon’s vehicle with stones after identifying him as a Jew. Nachshon was then pulled from his van and brutally beaten about the head before being rescued by one of the village leaders.

 Israel Today - Nir Nachshon, a moving company employee, was trying to reach the Jewish town of Ma’aleh Adumim on Jerusalem’s eastern outskirts when his GPS device mistakenly directed him into the Arab neighborhood of Issawiya.

The muhtar (village leader) of Issawiya protected Nachshon from further attack until an Israeli Border Police unit arrived and rushed him to a nearby hospital. He is currently in stable condition. On numerous occassions over the past year Israeli Jews have errantly entered Arab neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem only to narrowly escape with their lives.

Israeli commentators say the younger generation of Arabs has been so radicalized by a Palestinian school system full of anti-Jewish incitement that they will try to kill any Jew on sight. Police officials have lamented that Arab parents suffering either from indifference or fear of appearing to be “pro-Jewish” typically do nothing to prevent the younger generation’s violent ways.

 If you were to Tweet a  picture depicting Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed in religious garb, say as a nun and priest, respectively, you might be met with a raised eyebrow. But if your Mickey sports a long, traditional Islamic beard and Minnie wears a face veil, in Egypt, you’ll be met with a call to “cut out the tongue of any person who attacks our religion.”

You’ll also be sued, have your businesses boycotted and be the target of multiple Facebook hate-pages started just for you…

The Blaze - An Egyptian Christian telecom mogul has angered Islamic hard-liners by posting an online cartoon of Mickey Mouse with a beard and Minnie in a face veil.

The ultraconservative Islamists, known as Salafis, called the cartoon posted by Naguib Sawiris on Twitter a mockery of Islam. They launched an online campaign calling on Muslims in Egypt to boycott Sawiris’ mobile phone company Mobinil. Shares of Mobilnil and Orascom Telecom, which Sawiris chairs, both fell Monday on the Egyptian stock exchange.

 

Sawiris, who is also a politician, promotes a secular Egypt. He owns media companies and after Mubarak stepped down on Feb. 11, he launched a political party that calls for separation of state and religion. After the cartoon posted a few days ago stirred complaints on Twitter, Sawiris tweeted an apology on Friday and claimed he was joking. “I apologize for those who don’t take this as a joke; I just thought it was a funny picture; no disrespect meant. I am sorry,” he tweeted.

But new Facebook groups cropped and quickly gained more
than 60.000 followers, calling for a boycott of his widely used cell phone company. Named “We are joking Sawiris,” the Facebook group said: “If you are really a Muslim, and you love your religion, boycott his projects. We have to cut out the tongue of any person who attacks our religion.”

At least 15 Salafi lawyers have filed lawsuits accusing Sawiris of religious contempt, an official at the prosecutor general office said. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. Another Facebook group named “We hate you Mickey Sawiris” depicted the Egyptian businessman as a Mickey Mouse. The group’s motto is: “No to mockery of Islam.”

 

The cartoons are another source of sectarian tensions, which have already xploded into violence on a number of occasions in the chaotic, post-Mubarak transition. 

A Salafi cleric Mazen el-Sersawi appeared on television and scolded Sawiris. “Shame on you,” he said.

“How can a man like this make fun of Muslims, in a country on the brink of sectarian discord,” he said. “If this is just joking, why don’t you depict Mickey Mouse as a monk or a nun?”

In the broad spectrum of Islamic thought, Salafism is on the extreme conservative end. Saudi Arabia’s puritanical Wahhabi interpretation is considered its forerunner, and Saudi preachers on satellite TV and the Internet have been key to the spread of Salifism in Egypt.

Salafists are distinguished by the way they dress. In many parts of Cairo, women wear the “niqab,” a veil which shows at most the eyes rather than the scarf that covers only the hair. The men grow their beards long and often shave off mustaches, a style said to imitate the Prophet Muhammad.

The cyber campaign against Sawiris showed how uncomfortable his secular campaign has made Islamists. It also could lead to polarization in the streets ahead of crucial parliament elections set for September.

Here in Hong Kong there are some muslims working as labourers, in this case the guy would have helped tiling my roof terrace. But as a woman and knowing exactly what they think about me, (that beard and wearing a tent? It’s illegal for cab drivers to refuse to take a passenger because he is carrying liquor bottles or using a guide dog. But they are getting away with it at the Minneapolis Airport because a majority of cab drivers there are Somali Muslims.

Since 2001, there have been more than 5,000 instances of Muslim cab drivers at the Minneapolis- St. Paul Airport refusing to transport passengers carrying alcohol or blind people with seeing eye dogs.

Saudi Arabia will begin issuing tourist visas for the first time. Travel to the desert kingdom has been limited to business, employment, pilgrimages and specially approved visits, but in the next several weeks a new tourism council will be enacted to promote the country in world markets.

Muslim Professor warns, anti-shari’a legislation proposed in multiple states poses a “significant threat to national security”

With an eye toward the 2012 elections, legislators in six states have been debating laws explicitly prohibiting courts from considering or using Sharia law, with 14 more looking at wider bans on “foreign law.” They’re taking a clear cue from Oklahoma’s wildly popular Shari’a ban, which voters approved as a state constitutional amendment last year by more than 70 percent.

 

Such laws are discriminatory and pointless. Civil liberties groups are fighting them in court and calling on state legislators to abandon such bills. But there is an additional reason everyone, including would-be proponents of the laws and the federal government, should oppose them: they pose a significant threat to national security.

To begin with, the bans’ justifications are thin. Despite the worries voiced by candidates in the recent Republican candidates’ debate in New Hampshire, no state, county or municipality is about to realign its laws with religious doctrine, Islamic or otherwise. (That is a lie: NEW STUDY FINDS SHARIAH LAW INVOLVED IN COURT CASES IN 23 STATES)  Nor does 

any state

 

or federal court today in Oklahoma, or anywhere else, need to enforce a foreign rule repugnant to public policy. Under the legal system’s well-established “choice of law” doctrines, the courts are already unlikely to help out someone who claims their religion allows, say, the subordination or mistreatment of women.

Instead, the bans would deprive Muslims of equal access to the law. (CRAP) A butcher would no longer be able to enforce his contract for halal meat — contracts that, like deals for other faith-sanctioned foods, are regularly enforced around the country. Nor could a Muslim banker seek damages for violations of a financial instrument certified as “Sharia compliant” since it pays no interest.(sharia-islamic-law-now-being-practiced-in-florida-yes-florida)

 

Moreover, these bans increase bias among the public by endorsing the idea that Muslims are second-class citizens.(The bias comes from muslims acting as if they are above the law, with their constant demands for special accommodations for their excessive religious needs which inconvenience other Americans)  They encourage and accelerate both the acceptability of negative views of Muslims and the expression of those negative views by the public and government agencies like the police. (Nah uh, Muslim anti-social behavior is what fosters negative views by the public)

Such indignities arise amid a pattern of growing animus toward American Muslims. Reports of employment discrimination against Muslims to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which declined after a post-9/11 peak, have recently surged.  (Maybe that’s because Muslim Brotherhood groups like CAIR keep suing and threatening businesses if they don’t make special accommodations for Muslim sensitivities) Gallup, Pew and ABC polls confirm a new spike in anti-Muslim views.

Most troubling, tallies of hate crimes collected by nongovernmental organizations show the same trend.

In this context, bans like the one in Oklahoma will serve to chill cooperation by the Muslim-American community with counterterrorism efforts. (They could hardly be chillier considering the  FBI gets little or no help from the muslim
community) This makes sense: in such an environment, it would be fair for Muslims to pause before, say, passing on a lead to the police, worrying about whether the police would then look at them with suspicion as well. (How would they know if they’ve never tried?)

But the likelihood of such a chill is also supported by four large, random-sample surveys that I conducted with two colleagues, Tom Tyler and Stephen Schulhofer. Our data, collected from Muslims and non-Muslims in New York and London, suggest that the experience and perception of private discrimination have a significant negative effect on cooperation. (No, it’s the going against Islamic teachings by ratting out a fellow muslim, even if he is a terrorist, is what negatively affects cooperation)

This not only affects everyday public safety, but also the interaction necessary to gather information about self-radicalization and domestic efforts to recruit terrorists. After all, it’s simply impossible for the government to gather all that information. For that it must rely on the public, both as a filter and as an aid in interpreting it. If the government lacks strong ties to the Muslim-American community, that kind of filter falls apart. (That filter has never been there)

To prevent the erosion of such (non-existent) support, the Justice Department should better publicize its support for a pending
challenge to the Oklahoma amendment. It should also announce that it will challenge similar measures as violations of the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of religion. Doing so would not only protect the rights of Muslim-Americans, but also send a signal that they can rely on the federal government’s support. (Readers of BNI Atlas Shrugs, Jihad Watch, etc., already know the Obama thugs are using tax dollars to fight every state that wants to impose anti-shari’a legislation)

To be sure, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. has taken steps against anti-Muslim bias, for example by supporting a California schoolteacher’s suit challenging her dismissal for taking time off to make a pilgrimage to Mecca. But these steps are inadequate compared to the scope of public and private discrimination facing Muslim-Americans. (Perhaps the anti-muslim attitudes are the result of the overreaching out to muslims by the Regime)

 The federal government needs to do more to defend equal access to the law regardless of faith. To do so is not simply to uphold our core values — it is also to work to improve our nation’s security. (I’ll tell you how to improve MY nation’s security, get rid of the muslims)

Barack Hussein Obama’s ‘new’ birth certificate ??

 Take a look at a map of Africa from 1961. Do you see a country called Kenya on it?

The problem with this ‘new’ birth certificate Obama’s, is that it’s, well….new. It lists his birthday as August 4, 1961, then lists his father’s native country as Kenya. The problem with that is Kenya didn’t exist until 1963; it was British East Africa or East Africa Protectorate until then.  It also lists the hospital of his birth as Kapi’olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital, which didn’t exist until 1978. Prior to that time it was Kauaikeolani Children’s Hospital.

It is also dated April 25, 2011, with Dr. Alvin T. Onaka signing to the stamp of “I certify this is a true copy or abstract of the record on file in the Hawaii Department of State Health”. Being an abstract does not mean it is real or official; it means it matches what is in the electronic system, which would have been put in some time after 1978 because of the hospital name, and as recently as April 25, 2011, because of the date, or any time in between.

A Muslim man made a Pathmark meat aisle extra bloody this morning when he plunged a knife into an elderly shopper’s neck, allegedly after the perpetrator stepped on the victim’s foot, police and store employees said.

Abdullah Mohammed, 51, of 125th Street, was at the Harlem supermarket yesterday morning when he started arguing loudly at the customer service desk with William Perry, 70, a former truck driver. Perry was at the desk buying Lotto tickets when Mohammed stepped on his foot, irking the older man, according to his older brother, Charles Perry.

 

Mohammed, who was clad in a peach linen suit, was booted out of the store, but stormed back in minutes later and cornered Perry in the meat aisle, two employees said. He then allegedly whipped out a razor and slashed Perry across the neck.

“People ran out of the store. One guy was screaming, ‘Oh my God, I’ve never seen anything like this,’” said Rafael Feliciano, a repairman who witnessed the melee.
A heroic store employee tackled Mohammed and subdued him until the police responded to the meat aisle melee, cops said. Mohammed was dragged out of the supermarket screaming “at everyone around him,” Feliciano said.
Mohammed was arrested and charged with assault in the first degree. Perry was taken to Harlem Hospital and was likely to survive his injuries, police said. ”He’s a coward and … didn’t fight fair,” Charles Perry said from his brother’s hospital bed.

In 2010 Hamas ran camps for an estimated 100,000 campers, a number similar to 2009. The Islamic Jihad terror group ran 51 camps with 10,000 participating boys and girls.

 

Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan reported the objectives of the camps were to raise a generation of children with ‘genuine Islamic values.’ ”Children working for the interests of their homeland and to educate them to the culture of the Islamic faith so they will remember their goals, including Jerusalem and the prisoners,” Radwan said

A UNRWA spokesman called on the security services of the de facto Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip to investigate and determine who was behind the attacks.
But the groups of armed men who attack the UNRWA summer camps every year receive are inspired by, and probably supported by, Hamas and other terror networks networks operating in Gaza who say the UNRWA camps are ‘undermining Palestinian values.’

BAN MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCIATION in America ???

The United West - During Israel Apartheid Week at the University of California, Irvine, Amir Mertaban, former president the Muslim Students Association (West), a designated Muslim Brotherhood front organization as documented in the Holy Land Foundation Trial, was asked in the Q&A portion of his lecture a simple and straight forward question, “Do you support HAMAS, yes or no?” “That’s a loaded question” and “I refuse to answer that question.”

Not a hard question when one considers that both US presidents George W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton, the State Department, Australia, the EU, the UK, Russia, Japan, Switzerland, Israel and Canada all list HAMAS as a terrorist organization/group. Moreover, the HAMAS’ Official Charter States:

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”

The Muslim Brotherhood motto is:

“Allah is our objective, the Prophet is our leader, the Koran is our law, Jihad is our way, and dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. Allahu akbar!”

Understanding that HAMAS was founded by the Muslim Brotherhood and that HAMAS’ educational objective (above) are one in the same, it is not hard to understand why and how individuals such as Amir Mertaban are infiltrating our universities and colleges today. And worse yet, our colleges and universities are not only encouraging the Amirs on campus but actively supporting and funding their anti-Israel hate filled agenda with your tax dollar ??

I’ve known some fine people on the internet through the years, Andrew Whitehead had a great site fighting CAIR, there was Pal Talk before it got “politically correct” in the early 2000′s that really rocked. A few other sites that had great songs and stories…the guy who recorded the songs is on Fox news once in a while. He has his own radio program now. I am still friends with some I met there. That is where I learned the most about Islam. There were a great group of Coptic Christians in Canada from the middle east who experienced “The Wrath” of peaceful Islam…gosh, they went through hell.
